Cry ,,,Baghdad!!!!

It was all over the news yesterday.. The United States Congress voted on a plan to divide Iraq,to turn the country into a Federation..

I'm not an Iraqi, and I'm not here to talk on basis of being an arab..

I'm just talking as a concerned citizen of the world...

I wouldn't say a word if the decision was made by the Iraqi people themselves... It will be their decision ,after all it's their country...

But the decision is being discussed thousands of miles away,on the other side of the world ,in the country which is occupying Iraq for the last 4 years...

What nerves do they have!!!!!

I felt really sad..It was some thing I thought we would never read or hear of out side the history books...

It hurts ,not because I'm arab..It hurts because humanity is going to this path again..

It hurts to see people get killed in the streets for no good reason but the greed and power hunger..

Children,women,men,husbands,brothers,sisters,old people,young people,iraqi people..

I felt sad and hurt,because Iraq is not only a map..

It's people

The libyan space....

I was bored, so I started playing around on my computer...I keep this picture since I like every thing about space...

I started to paint the flag,and I liked the idea of imagining a libyan to be the first on moon...

Sci-Fi indeed..

التدخين ....من جديد؟!!!ء

لا زال بعض من يدخنون قادرون على اذهالي بالفعل,و للأسف ليس بذوقهم الرفيع

أثناء عودتنا جوا على متن الخطوط الليبية الى أرض الوطن من دولة الامارات ليلا,أخبرنا قائد الطائرة أن دقائق تفصلنا عن امساك الصيام,,,كنت منكبا على مقاومة النعاس بقراءة رواية,عندما تسللت الى أنفي رائحة شئ يحترق,,و أظنكم حزرتم ما هو...يبدو أن أحدهم ظن أن العالم سينتهي اذا لم يسحب (نفسين)قبل الصيام,,,بالتأكيد كارثة,,لذا قرر أن يشاركنا دخانه على ارتفاع ثلاثين ألف قدم,و ليذهب أمثالي الى....حيث يشربون من ماء البحر

و ليت الأمر توقف عند هذا الحد,عندما أبلغه المضيفون بأن هذا(و الله العظيم ممنوع)استشاط غضبا ,وتحدى المضيف بوقاحة يحسد عليها في الواقع...فما كان مني الا أن تدخلت(ليس عن بطولة,صدقوني)و أخبرته أن ليس من حقه أن يرغمنا على مشاركته فيما يفعل,و أن عليه احترام الأشخاص من حوله في هذا المكان الضيق..فما كان منه الا أن تطلع الى شذرا, و حقا لو كانت النظرات تقتل ,لتحولت الى جثة هامدة لحظتها

ومن جديد,ليست هذه نهاية القصة,,,فهذه الحادثة جعلت قائد الرحلة يعلن (يااخوان التدخين ممنوع منعا باتا داخل الطائرة,غير مسموح ,غلط,من فضلكم )الا أن (صاحبنا)ذاك فسر الموضوع بشكل شخصي جدا,و نهض بشكل عصبي للغاية اضطر بعض المتعاطفين مع (حقه)المهضوم أن يطلبو منه أن يوسع باله,,لكن يبدو أنه وسعه كثيرا من قبل,و تماشيا مع مبدأ (تسكتلهم ياكلوك),فقد انطلق الى مؤخر الطائرة,غاب ربع ساعة,ثم عاد الى كرسيه و على وجهه علائم النصر(لولا ثقتي في استحالة الفكرة,لظننت لحظتها أنه حرر الأراضي المحتلة) و جلس نافخا صدره ليعلن بصوت مرتفع(أهو دخنت براحتي و بالعين القوية و ما في واحد كلمني)....حرفيا!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ء

تمنيت لحظتها أن انهض و اشد على يديه لأهنئه بهذا الفتح العظيم,و بسياسة(انحرقو)التي اتحفنا بها,و أن اقبل جبينه اعتذارا على مابدر مني من قلة احترام لحقوقه الأساسية....

اتعرفون ما أغاظني حقا؟؟؟ أن أحد المسافرين تطلع الي في استغراب ليخبرني:وانت شن دخلك تكلمه؟؟ء

من جديد :فلتحيا السلبية...ء

The Desert Dream..

I spent last week in U.A.E(United Arab Emirates)..I've been to both Abu Dhabi and Dubai..The trip wasn't for tourism,but I tried to enjoy my free time their as much as I could..

Residents of Dubai call it the (Desert dream)...A dream indeed,,a beutiful one..

The city is young,perhapse 36 years old..But it gained a world wide reputation of being an oasis of modern and dynamic life style..

A story of success that you can't believe unless you see it your self..

You can see that the details are well taken care of...No thing to be left for luck.

You can see that every thing matters in this fast developing city ..

The global city...That what i like to call it...You can see people from all over the world..In the streets you hear arabic ,english, russian, german ,ordo ,italian ,turkish...every language you can think of,,every nationality....A global city indeed..

You can call it (The Workshop)..Where ever you go, you see some thing is being built ,dug ,repaired..you name it...

The city is diverse ,vivid ,and most of all:TOLERANT...you don't feel as a stranger,you can't have such feeling in this global city...You can meet all religions ,all colours ,all tastes and all differences in that oasis ...every body respects the others' space ,a thing that only the people whose privacy and individuality is always considered an un-necessary luxury can really appreciate..

This small city is a living proof what money,human will ,and organized administartion can achieve...Some thing you can call......The desert dream...simple and plane..

Apology!!

Dear citizens of the Blogging World:
Well, it felt good that a fellow citizen has actually (missed) me...Thankyou Romana..that was nice..
So,i have to apologize i think, it's been a while..I got busy,you knowhow things are ..Work ,work,and as if it is not enough:MORE WORK...
The other thing is i have an exam in few weeks...You can't imagine the stress..It is an important step inmy career,,but .....God,,i won't talk now ..Just pray for me ...
I'll be back soon i hope..unless -ofcourse- Aliens invade Earth ,or the civilization vanish in a nuclear winter ,or terrorists take over the world..or simply if you get bored and read my blog nomore...
Here i have to stop for a minute to say aword:A good colleague and friend of us had seriously injured in car accident,,,he is still in coma,,he underwent serious operation..we all pray for him and for his family..
My dear friend (S) called from over seas and said:Ican't remember him with out a smile on his face. I think that tells all about him ,an easy going ,smiling ,funny,and good hearted...
Ihope he'll be well very soon..
Pray for him and for his family...
